How to convert PowerPoint to PDF

Open the converter page in your browser. Choose a .pptx, older .ppt, or .odp file from your computer.

The tool converts your presentation on the server. Each slide turns into one PDF page with matching text, colors, shapes, and images.

Download your PDF once processing finishes. The service requires no registration, email address, or payment.

What we tested and how

We ran 8 test cases on November 5, 2026, using Chromium on desktop. All 8 tests passed.

We tested standard presentation files, long file names, non-Latin characters, oversized uploads, and multi-file batches.

A typical slide deck converted cleanly into a 1-page PDF file measuring 559 B.

What happened with difficult files

The tool converted files with very long names, extra spaces, emojis, and Korean or Japanese text without issue.

When we tried to select multiple presentations, the tool blocked batch processing and reported: "The free version converts one file at a time, so only the first one you chose was used."

When we uploaded a file 1 MB over the limit, it was rejected with: "pptx_mb_26.pptx was not added: the converter takes files up to 25 MB. Compress the pictures in PowerPoint (File, Compress Pictures) and try again."

Limits of the free version

The free tier converts only one presentation at a time, and files cannot exceed 25 MB. If your deck is too large, compress the pictures in PowerPoint before uploading.

The tool cannot process password-protected files. You must remove the password in PowerPoint first.

PDFs do not support animations or transitions, so each slide captures only its final state. Speaker notes are also omitted from the final PDF.

We re-run these tests when the tool changes. Results describe this tool on the date shown.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q. Does the converter leave a watermark on the PDF?

No. The free tool produces clean PDFs without watermarks, sign-up, or email requirements.

Q. Is text in the converted PDF searchable and selectable?

Yes. The text becomes real PDF text, so you can select, copy, and search it, and hyperlinks remain clickable.

Q. Are my presentation files stored on your server?

No. Your file is converted on the server, and both the presentation and the PDF are deleted right after.
