It turns a PowerPoint presentation into a PDF that opens the same way on every phone, computer and printer, without PowerPoint. Use it to email a deck, upload slides to a course or job portal that only takes PDF, or print handouts. It is free, needs no account and adds no watermark.

What to expect
The slides are laid out by a real presentation engine on our server, so the PDF matches your slides much more closely than a converter that draws them in the browser. The file is deleted from the server as soon as the PDF is sent back.
Large decks with many photos take longer. If a file is over the size limit, shrink the pictures in PowerPoint (File > Compress Pictures) and try again.

Is this PowerPoint to PDF converter free?
Yes. Convert as many presentations as you like, one at a time, up to 25 MB each and 20 an hour. No sign-up, no email and no watermark.
Will the PDF look like my slides?
Yes. Each slide becomes one PDF page with the same layout, text, colors, pictures, shapes, tables and charts. Animations and transitions do not exist in a PDF, so each slide shows its final state. Speaker notes are not included. If a font you used is not available, a font with the same letter widths stands in, so text stays on the same lines.
Which files can I convert?
PowerPoint .pptx and older .ppt files, and .odp presentations from LibreOffice or OpenOffice. For Google Slides or Keynote, download or export the presentation as .pptx first.
Which characters are supported?
All common alphabets work, including Korean, Chinese, Japanese, Arabic, Hebrew, Greek and Cyrillic.
Is the text in the PDF selectable?
Yes. The text is real PDF text, so you can select, search and copy it, and links stay clickable.
Is my presentation stored?
No. It is converted on our server and both the presentation and the PDF are deleted right after. A password-protected presentation cannot be converted: remove the password in PowerPoint first.
Are there limits?
One presentation at a time, up to 25 MB and 20 conversions an hour. Avalon Pro converts up to 50 presentations at once, files up to 95 MB and 100 conversions an hour, and saves the PDFs as one ZIP file.
