How to Rotate PDF Pages Step by Step
Drop your PDF file into the tool on the page.
Press the ↻ or ↺ button below any sideways page to turn that single page. You can also press Rotate all to change the orientation of every page at the same time.
Press Save PDF. The browser generates a new PDF file with the new directions permanently written into it, ready to download without a watermark.
How We Tested the Tool
We tested the free tier on 2026-11-03 using Chromium on desktop across 14 total test cases.
The test files included normal 3-page documents, very long file names, and names with spaces, emojis, or Korean and Japanese text. We also ran files with mixed page dimensions, a 1-page scanned document, and text in Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Arabic, Hindi, Thai, and Russian.
All 14 tests passed. Valid files generated correct PDF output while retaining their original dimensions and sharp, searchable text.
Handling Corrupt and Locked Files
Corrupted or invalid inputs were blocked immediately. When we tested a 0-byte file, a 1-byte file, a cut-off file, and a JPEG file renamed as a PDF, the tool stopped the file with this message: "This file is not a valid PDF or it is damaged. Try re-saving it from the app that created it."
The tool does not accept locked files directly. Supplying a password-protected PDF produced the warning: "This PDF is locked. Unlock it in your PDF reader, save an unlocked copy, then add that copy."
In contrast, unusual file names did not trigger errors. The tool processed names containing emojis, extra spacing, and non-Latin characters cleanly.
Free Tier Limits and Alternatives
The free tier processes 1 PDF file at a time up to a maximum size of 100 MB. Attempting to add a 101 MB file triggered: "pdf_mb_101.pdf was not added: the free version can hold 100 MB."
The tool also prevents multi-file batch uploads. Adding 2 files at once prompted: "The free version works on one PDF at a time. Save this one, press Clear, then add the next."
This tool is not the right fit if you need to process batches in one go, add page numbers, download ZIP archives, or rotate password-protected files without unlocking them first.
