How do I rotate a PDF for free?
Drop the PDF above, press ↻ or ↺ under each sideways page, or Rotate all for every page, then press Save PDF. You get a new PDF with the pages turned, with no sign-up and no watermark.
Can I rotate just one page?
Yes. Every page has its own turn buttons, so you can fix the one scanned page that came out sideways and leave the rest as they are.
Will the rotation stay when I open the PDF somewhere else?
Yes. The new direction is written into the PDF file itself, so it opens the right way up in every PDF reader, browser and phone, and when you print it.
Does rotating lower the quality?
No. Pages are copied as they are and only the direction they are shown in changes, so text stays sharp and searchable and pictures are not compressed again.
Are my PDFs uploaded anywhere?
No. The page previews are drawn and the new PDF is saved inside your browser, on your own device. Nothing is sent to our servers.
Can I rotate a locked PDF?
Not directly. Remove the password first with our free unlock PDF tool, then rotate the unlocked copy.
