How do I convert PNG to JPG for free?
Drop your PNG images above, leave Convert to on JPG and press Convert to JPG. Each image comes back as a JPG you can download one by one or all at once, with no sign-up and no watermark.
What happens to transparent areas?
JPG cannot store transparency, so transparent areas are filled with white. If you need to keep the transparent background, keep the PNG or save it as WebP instead.
Why is the JPG so much smaller?
PNG stores every pixel exactly, which is great for screenshots and logos but large for photos. JPG drops detail the eye barely sees, so photos often shrink to a fraction of their PNG size.
Does converting lower the quality?
A little, by design: JPG is saved at the quality you choose, 90 percent by default. For text-heavy screenshots, use 95 or higher to keep letters crisp.
Are my images uploaded anywhere?
No. The images are converted inside your browser, on your own device. Nothing is sent to our servers.
